the SpruitHome Our house is automated using components from X10, mainly Marmitek. Basically, this means that there is a computer running all day to control the roomlights, curtains etc. Combined with the motion sensors this setup gives a pure sense of luxury. For automating our house, we have settles for X-10 products. There is a lot of information available on X-10 on the Internet, so I will not elaborate on that. See the links section on suggestion where to surf to. However, when searching the WWW for information, hoping to find the answers to some burning questions, I found some information missing. I will try to post this information here. Might be of some help to you when you are planning your next Home Automation project.		het SpruitHuis Ons huis is geautomatiseerd met behulp van X10-modules, voornamelijk van Marmitek. In feite betekend dit dat de hele dag een computer aan staat die het huis bestuurd, en dan voornamelijk de verliching en de gordijnen. Gecombineerd met de bewegingsmelders geeft dit een uiterst luxe gevoel. Voor de apparatuur hebben we gekozen voor X-10 producten. Op het Internet is een ontstellende hoeveelheid informatie te vinden over X-producten, dus ik ga hier niet meer over uitweiden. Kijk even in de links-sectie voor enkele suggesties. Echter, toen ik het WWW doorzicht op enkele prangende vragen, bleek het antwoord niet altijd voorhanden. Ik probeer deze informatie hier alsnog beschikbaar te stellen. Misschien heb je er iets aan.
Projecten A hidden motion sensor The first project I got myself involved was to build a wireless motion sensor into a birdhouse. This way I could 'hide' the motion sensor in my garden, watching the front door.... Using the in-wall modules According to the manual, the Marmitek in-wall modules are compatible with the Jung CD500-serie. In practise, these Jung modules are hard to find and very expensive.
